Relative ‘Absolute’ Scale (RAS) – This refers to a system in which a 6ft character will be a certain height to the eyes, and all other models with be proportional to the 6ft character. If this is the only scale option on a listing then the model you receive will have the same relative size to that base as is shown in the renders provided.
Our different scaling systems are explained below:īase size / Base scale / Scale – This refers to the diameter of the base that the model sits on. These show the model at a particular scale, with a standard 22mm D20 and ruler for reference. We have begun to provide scaling images on a large number of our listings. However, we are working to implement a more generalised system across all of our listings. This is primarily due to our use of files from a number of digital artists that use different scaling methods themselves. We use a number of different scaling conventions for our models at the moment. Please note that plastic glue/cement will not work with resin models for assembly we recommend a general adhesive, such as superglue. In most cases, we will ship these as separate parts to better ensure safety during transit. Some of the digital files supplied to us contain a kit for assembly. A hollowed model will still have thick walls and an internal lattice to retain structural integrity. Larger models will often be printed hollow for a number of reasons: to reduce the prevalence of print lines, improve the longevity of our printers, and reduce the risk of printing failures. However, some small nubs or pits may remain that require light sanding to remove. We use best practices when removing these supports to reduce damage to the model.
